MONROE - The Monroe spring city wide garage sale will be held on Saturday, May 9, and includes the entire city. Shoppers will also be able to visit the downtown merchants for their second annual sidewalk sale.
Registration forms, available at Monroe Pick 'N Save, Monroe Piggly Wiggly, the Monroe Chamber of Commerce and Industry office or online at www.monroechamber.org, must be submitted with the $10 registration fee to the Monroe Chamber office. Registration accepted through Friday, May 1.
Those who register are entered in a drawing for one of four $25 Monroe money gift certificates.
Submit registration forms early to be assured of inclusion on the City Wide Garage Sale map. Individuals or groups may donate the proceeds of their sales to the charity of their choice. These sales will be specifically identified on the City Garage Sale map. Maps will be available in the grocery stores on Wednesday, May 6.
Registration forms may be dropped off or mailed to the Monroe Chamber of Commerce and Industry at 1505 Ninth Street, Monroe, WI 53566. Sellers may choose five categories from the sales category index key. The description of categories allows every seller to advertise their merchandise on the map. These letters will represent difference categories of merchandise available at each location.
