Chili and Clam Chowder Supper fundraiser is Jan. 12

ORANGEVILLE - Gear up your appetites and warm up your tummies at a chili and clam chowder supper, served from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Masonic/IOOF Hall, 203 W. High Street, Orangeville. The meal, sponsored by the Orangeville Masonic Lodge, is a fund-raiser for the Orangeville School District Industrial Arts Program. The meal ($7 for adults, $5 for children 5-12) includes chili and/or clam chowder, bread, cheese, crackers, and a dessert, and will be complemented by coffee, milk, or water. According to Steve Johnson, Orangeville school district industrial arts teacher, "This is a tremendous opportunity to enjoy great food and company while helping one of the many great programs the Orangeville School District offers its students." Volunteers include the OHS Servant Leadership group, community service volunteers, industrial arts program volunteers, and the Orangeville Masons. During the meal, attendees will have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for the entertainment center built by the shop class.
