MONROE -There are three art classes being offered at the Blackhawk Technical College Monroe Campus.
Drawing 101 is a basic drawing class including concepts of design, perspective, composition, and attitude. A variety of mediums will be available for examination. The class meets for six sessions beginning Monday, Feb. 9, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. This is a new start date for this class.
Keep on Drawing is scheduled to follow Drawing 101, starting on March 31, to continue laying a foundation of art concepts, vocabulary, materials and appreciation. Watercolor Basics and Beyond for Beginners and Beyond is an introduction to watercolor painting for both the beginner and experienced artist A wide range of techniques and styles will be discussed with plenty of time to paint during class. Returning students may benefit from this class as additional new techniques will be included along with the basics. The class starts Wednesday, Feb. 18, 6 to 8:30 p.m., for eight sessions.
