MONROE - Boy Scout Troop 101 is washing spuds and chopping onions for its annual fundraiser from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 9 at the Monroe Moose Lodge, 639 3rd Ave.

Scouts will be serving up a baked potato or taco dinner featuring toppings of the diner's choice and homemade dessert. There also will be a silent auction with items including laser tag games, Vitense Footgolf passes, Snappers tickets, oil changes and detailing packages.

Dinner tickets can be purchased at the door. Carryouts are available. The money raised helps keep the troop operational, including with camping and supplies, merit badges and awards. The money raised goes directly to support the troop and the Scouts.
