Bazaar and craft show is Nov. 19

BELLEVILLE - A fall bazaar and craft show, sponsored by the Senior Citizens Program of Belleville, Exeter and Montrose, is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 at St. Mary's Church Hall, 221 Frederick St.

There will be a raffle, craft sale, bake sale, door prizes and a lunch stand. Door prizes will be awarded. Santa will be visiting at 11 a.m.

Lena

Ladies Day Out slated for Nov. 19

LENA - A Ladies Day Out event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Lena Community Center, 497 Lions Drive.

The event is free and there will be more than 50 vendors present with a wide variety of items.

There will be a cash-n-carry items available, as well as 50 door prizes and a grand prize of $100 Lena money.

There will be a collection of non-perishable food and toiletry items for the local food pantry.

Brodhead

Christmas tree help returns this year

BRODHEAD - Members and "Newfies" from the Upper Midwest Club in Janesville will be at Paul's Tree Farm again this year, to help customers pull their cut Christmas trees out of the field to their vehicles from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 25, 26 and 27, and Dec. 3, 4, 10 and 11, with weather permitting.

The club will be accepting donations for the Friends of Noah, a fund that provides assistance for animals in a crisis situation that otherwise would not be able to receive care.
