River Ducks Unlimited to host dinner banquet Tuesday

DARLINGTON - The Pecatonica River Ducks Unlimited will host its 12th annual dinner banquet on Tuesday, March 6 at Bridges, 201 Christensen Drive, Darlington.

A social hour will start at 4:30 p.m., with dinner to be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

There will also be live and silent auctions, raffles, and games.

Tickets are available at the door or by contacting John Elliott at (608) 558-1676. Prices are $50 for regular, $30 for spouse and $20 for greenwing (age 17 and under). To sponsor, the cost is $275.

Boy scout all-you-can-eat pancake supper is March 12

LENA - Lena Boy Scout Troop 91 will host an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage supper from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 12 at the Lena American Legion Hall, 316 W. Main St.

Advance tickets are available from the Lena Boy Scouts and AJ's Lena Main Meats. Prices are $6 for adults in advance or $6.50 at the door and $4 for ages 3 to 10 or $4.50 at the door.

Elton John, Tim Rice AIDA to be peformed March 9-10

ORANGEVILLE - Elton John and Tim Rice's AIDA School Edition will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10 at Orangeville High School, 201 Orange St.

Boy scouts to hold baked potato, taco bar dinner

MONROE - Boy Scout Troop 101 will hold its annual baked potato and taco bar dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 12 at the Moose Lodge, 639 3rd Ave., Monroe.

All proceeds will help the troop further its educational efforts in the areas of badge work and camping.

FFA to host annual farm toy show on March 11

MONROE - The Monroe FFA Chapter and Monroe FFA Alumni will host the 25th annual Farm Toy Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 11 at the Monroe High School, 1600 26th St.

Admission is $3 for adults, and children under 10 will be admitted for free.

The show will feature old and new farm toys, toy trucks, NASCAR toys, and a miniature farm display. A children's pedal pull for ages 4 to 9 will start at 1 p.m. with early registration.
