JUDA — The 30th Annual Juda Toy Show is planned from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Community Center and Fire Department in downtown Juda.
Admission is free. There will be a scrambled egg and ham casserole breakfast served from 9 to 11 a.m. and a lunch menu served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Root beer floats and ice cream sundaes will be available all day.
More than 100 tables will be available to browse featuring old and new toys, farm equipment, handmade crafts, wreaths, doll clothes, brown eggs, jams, jellies, maple syrup, honey, toys and puzzles crafted from wood and more.
Several small scale farm displays will be set up for ideas as well as hard-to-find items for 4-H youth doing small scale farm displays for fair projects. Mums, outdoor ornaments, straw and decorative pumpkins and gourds will also be available.
There will be a children’s pedal tractor pull starting at noon with prizes and trophies in four age categories. Anyone who wishes to show off their tractors and lawn mowers should register their unit by 10 a.m. the day of the show.
The show is sponsored by the Next Generation 4-H Club and supported by the Juda FFA/FFA Alumni for the past five years.
