Franklyn and Mary Ann Koch, Monroe, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 6 in Switzerland. They are now celebrating with a reception/open house from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, at the VFW Post 2312 on 17th Street in Monroe.

Franklyn and Mary Ann have five children: Rob, Monroe; Jim, Monticello; Rose, Madison; Ben (Sara), Janesville; and Carol (Paul), DeForest. They have eight (soon to be nine) grandchildren.

All friends and relatives are invited as no formal invitations are being sent.
