David and Vera Kamholz will celebrate their 60th anniversary on June 27, 2013.
The couple was married on June 27, 1953 at the Old Stone Church, Rockton, Ill.
They have eight children: Lavonne (Doug) Pinnow, Brodhead; Karen (Duane) Edwards, Gordon; Joan Kamholz, Albany; James (Earline), Wyoming; Chris (Amy), Juda; Craig (Becky), Juda; Kurt, Wyoming; and Larry, Oshkosh. They have 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
An open house celebrating the couple's anniversary will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 29 at Albany Lions Club, Albany. The couple asks that gifts be omitted. Music will be by Dell and Jerry.
