ALBANY — The Albany Community Center is hosting its 9th annual “Hooked on Fishing” event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 1 during Wisconsin’s DNR Free Fun Weekend at the Legion Park. 

This is a free event and for everyone. Pre-registration is not required. Children who pre-register will receive a free fishing gift when checking in at the registration booth on June 1. 

The completed forms can be turned into the community center or the school district office. Registration is from 9 to 11 a.m. and the event is for school age children ages 4K to 12. Children under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Rules for the contest must be followed and fish should be returned to the booth by 12:30 p.m. Contact Rhonda Flannery with questions at 608-558-3833.
