JANESVILLE - High school students can get ready to take the ACT college entrance exam through ACT Strategies, a series of preparation classes at UW-Rock County that includes a diagnostic test, a practice essay, test-taking strategies and timed drills. The classes will be held on the campus at 2909 Kellogg Ave. in Janesville.
Sessions include five classes that are strategically timed to help students right before taking the test. The next session for students taking the ACT exam on Feb. 9 will begin on Saturday, Jan. 19, with a class from 8 a.m.-noon, followed by classes on Saturday, Feb. 2, from 8 a.m.-noon; Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Wednesday, Feb. 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; and Thursday, Feb. 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Other sessions will begin in March and May.
