It should be evident to all voters that we can't spend more money than we have. Spending more than we have can lead to bankruptcy for the individuals, counties, cities, states and nation.
If the Monroe School District can save $800,000 in insurance premiums then how much could be saved in all schools in this state?
Others who have saved: Appleton, $3.1 million; Menomonee Falls, $2.4 million; Oshkosh, $1.3 million; Shorewood, $472,000; and Kettle Moraine, $600,000. Look this up on Politifactwisconsin.com
These savings are possible because our governor took some power away from the unions. The savings can help educate the children.
We do need picture ID at the polls when we vote. Please read "Double Voting Trouble" on Page 138 in the June issue of Readers Digest. It will surprise you how many deceased Americans are listed as active voters and how many are registered in two or more states. Isn't it time to have your one vote count?
Yes! The voters need to wake up.
