We as a community owe it to our senior citizens and ourselves as care givers.
As other area counties are struggling with the same problem, how are we to cope with having our loved ones "within a hundred miles?"
It is not an easy task to find a place for a loved one.
My husband has had to use the skilled nursing facilities on more than one occasion. He and I have both used the PVNH services and were well pleased with the care. Often times in our experience, when I as the care giver could no more handle the 24 hour days, it was very difficult to find a good place immediately.
I recommend Pleasant View Nursing Home. Please vote yes on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
