From Mike Davis
Monroe
I am supporting Howard Marklein for State Senate. In my state senator, I want someone who doesn't just say what they will do and make empty promises. I want a state senator who says they will help Green County and actually do it. This is why Howard drafted bipartisan legislation to help the wastewater treatment project in Monroe. This is why Howard authored bipartisan legislation to allow Green County to hold a referendum on Pleasant View Nursing Home in Monroe.
I also want someone who looks past party line to solve a problem. Both Democrats and Republicans alike have voted for his bills and over 90 percent of bills Howard voted for were supported on a bipartisan basis. Every bill Howard has ever authored has received bipartisan support in both the State Assembly and the State Senate.
Howard has been an independent voice in Madison and will continue to work with members of both parties to get the job done. I ask that you join me in supporting Howard for State Senate on Nov. 4. He has the kind of leadership we need representing Green County in Madison.
