New Glarus Home

To the editor:

The residents of the New Glarus Home were recently able to go Christmas shopping for their family members.

All this was brought about because of the generosity of you people.

We are very thankful for those that donated new and lovingly used items, so that we could "shop." We, the residents, have no money nor any way to get out to shop, however, we still have loved ones and we want to be able to give them something. Your generosity allowed this to happen.

On Saturday we had our annual Christmas party with our families.

Santa delivered a gift bag to each of us, which was graciously provided when you took an envelope off the "giving tree" and provided Santa with his bundles to deliver.

Most of these gifts come to us anonymously, so please accept this as a "thank you" from us all.

We need to thank our activity department for the wonderful home-cooked meal they provided for us on Thanksgiving Day.

The special treats, and there were many, that they made for our party on Saturday.

The extra time and effort they put forth has definitely shown us how much they care about the residents.

Santa, you were great and we look forward to next year's visit.

We wish you and yours all a wonderful holiday season and a healthy and Happy New Year.

God bless you all.
