To the editor:
With school board elections ahead on April 7, I'd like to take this opportunity to support three well-qualified current members running for re-election: Bob Erb, Amy Bazley and Mary Berger.
As a long-time Monroe resident and physician, as a father of two children who were well educated in Monroe, as a volunteer in our grade and middle schools, and as a husband of an educator, I'd like to see our schools and community continue to thrive .
I've known Bob, Amy and Mary over the years through work and relaxation. They have a strong educational background and wish to provide the same for their children and the children of Monroe. They work hard, are involved in the community, listen well to the concerns of parents and school staff, demonstrate good common sense, and are fiscally responsible in these tight economic times.
I can easily support Bob Erb, Amy Bazley and Mary Berger for another school board term.
