Experience will serve Gartzke well as judge

For those of us in the Albany school district, there are two very important school referendums on the April 7 ballot. However, that's not the only important issue on the ballot. Another important issue facing all Green County voters is the election of a Green County Circuit Court, Branch 2 judge.

Dan Gartzke could bring a wealth of experience to the Green County court system. He has 23 years of legal experience in private practice, with offices in New Glarus and Madison. He has experience in family law, divorces, worker's compensation claims, criminal matters, traffic cases, personal injury cases and general litigation matters. Dan has served in both Green County and Dane County Bar Associations (currently the president of the Dane County Bar and past-president of the Green County Bar) and has volunteered at the Family Law Assistance Center, providing free legal assistance in divorce matters since 2002. His vast experience will serve him well if elected as judge.

I have found Dan to be unlike most attorneys; he is not arrogant or boastful. He is an intelligent, articulate gentleman who will bring fairness and integrity to the bench. Not only is he a gifted attorney, he understands the importance of giving back to one's community. He has given much to the New Glarus area through community service; from coaching high school mock trial teams, serving on the New Glarus Community Foundation Board of Directors, to being a member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Dane County. Simply put, Dan is most qualified for this judgeship.

I urge you to vote for Dan for Green County Judge, Branch 2 on Tuesday, April 7. For more information about Dan, please go to his Web site: www.gartzkeforjudge.com.
