A blossom to all the people involved in the wonderful commemorative service for the 60th anniversary of the Korean War held at Green County Veterans Memorial Park on July 27. Many family and friends attended the tribute for the Green County veterans who died and those still missing in the Korean War. They also recognized all veterans who attended. A bunch of blossoms to the local cheese business for donating cheeses curds for the fundraiser at Pleasant View Nursing Home in July. The fundraiser proceeds went towards purchasing the new wheelchair accessible sink for the beauty salon.
