ORFORDVILLE - Orfordville Parkview broke up a two-point conversion pass in overtime to edge visiting Belleville-Albany, 21-20, on Friday night.
Belleville-Albany took a 14-0 halftime lead on two touchdown throws by Ryan Hendrickson, one for 23 yards to Tyler Argall and the second a 9-yard strike to Donovan Woods.
But the Vikings tied the score on Alex Cox's 1-yard run in the third quarter, and Nick Melton's 33-yard run with just 1:50 left in the fourth quarter.
On the first play of overtime, Parkview's Levi Stuvengen hit Melton with a 25-yard scoring pass, and Mark Gorelik kicked the extra point.
Belleville-Albany responded with an 11-yard scoring pass, but the ensuing two-point pass was knocked away.
The Wildcats (0-2) got 75 yards on 14 rushes from Nick Davis, while Argall caught 5 passes for 115 yards.
Melton finished with 53 yards on six carries and Caleb Fakes added 62 yards rushing for the Vikings (2-0).
