LAKE MILLS - The Sugar River soccer team's dream of winning an outright Capitol Conference championship took a blow with a 4-0 loss at rival Lakeside Lutheran Tuesday, Oct. 8.

Both Sugar River and Lakeside Lutheran entered the game unbeaten in conference. Lakeside Lutheran plays at Lodi Thursday, Oct. 10. If Lodi beats Lakeside Lutheran, the Raiders could still share the conference title.

Sugar River (11-5-2, 7-1 Capitol South) will host the winner of Evansville and Edgerton in a WIAA Division 3 regional game on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. in Belleville. There is a chance No. 1 seed Sugar River and No. 7 seed Monroe could play each other in the sectional semifinal. Monroe, which received a No. 7 seed, opens up the regional at Delavan-Darien Tuesday, Oct. 15.
