MONROE - Seniors on the Monroe-New Glarus swimming team set personal records Tuesday in a 95-75 loss to Oregon.
Monroe senior Mackenzie Hesgard set a PR in the 200-meter medley relay with a 50 freestyle time of 32 minutes, 2 seconds. Hesgard also set a PR in the 100-meter butterfly with a time of 1:34.17. Senior Monica Sefcik set a PR in the 400 freestyle with a time of 5:44.45. Senior Mary Kelly followed in her classmates' footsteps by setting PRs in the 50 freestyle (33.82) and in the 100 freestyle (1:15.93).
The junior varsity team lost 87-18.
