BEAVER DAM - The Capitol Conference has announced its 2009 Boys Soccer All-Conference team, which contains seven players from the Sugar River Raiders.
Earning first team all-conference honors are junior midfielder John Fox and senior defender Brendan Pittman.
Sugar River placed two players on the second team - junior midfielder Brett Ellenberger and sophomore forward Otto Kienitz.
Raiders earning honorable mention selections include senior midfielder Brian Anderson, and junior defenders Braden Pittman and Brandon Jones.
Sugar River finished 9-9 this season overall and 6-2 in conference. The Raiders tied for second place with Cambridge-Deerfield, one point away from conference champion Columbus (6-1-1).
