COLUMBUS - Sugar River senior Dylan Hustad scored four goals in the second half Thursday to help the Raiders score a 10-0 win over Columbus.
With the win, Sugar River clinches a share of the Capitol Conference championship with Lakeside Lutheran.
The game was called in the 66th minute due to the 10-goal mercy rule. With the win, Sugar River improves to 15-3-1, 8-0-1 Capitol Conference.
Sugar River senior Nehemiah Noriega scored the first goal on an assist from Brock Kelly at 4 minutes, 11 seconds. Senior teammate Miguel Santos Braceros scored a goal at 12:35, and senior Kevin Zimmerman scored on a pass from Mike Jennrich at 19:30. Sugar River's Otto Anson scored a goal on an assist from Cory Hoven at 23:30 and Jennrich scored on a pass from Zimmerman at 43:40 to give the Raiders a 5-0 lead at the half.
Kelly capped the scoring with a goal on an assist from Connor Delorme at 65:63.
