BLANCHARDVILLE - The Pecatonica-Argyle track team received good news a day after running in one of the top Division 3 sectionals in Bangor.
In addition to junior Lucas Stoehr winning the 400-meter dash and sophomore Wyatt Massey taking fourth in the 800 to qualify for state, the Vikings were informed that they will have two more state qualifiers.
Sophomore Kendra Sigg, who finished fifth in the 1,600 (5 minutes, 23.79 seconds), and senior Jeremy Meudt, who took fifth in the high jump (6 feet), also were special state qualifiers since their performances were in the top eight of all Division 3 sectionals.
The state meet is at UW-La Crosse June 4-5.
