WAUNAKEE - The Monroe High School boys tennis team lost a dual match to Waunakee 7-0 on Tuesday.

At No. 1 singles, Waunakee's James Paradisin defeated Monroe senior Silas Setterstrom 6-3, 6-4. At No. 2, Shane Paradisin defeated Monroe senior Ryan Peterson 6-2, 6-2. Max Christian beat Monroe senior Nick Baumann 6-3, 6-3 at No. 3 and James Wallis defeated Monroe's Quinn Walsh 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4.

At No. 1 doubles, the Warriors' Ethan Lui and Austin Zellner defeated the Cheesemakers' Kody Althaus and Alex Tordoff 6-2, 6-1. Emory Lietz and Nick Summers beat Monroe seniors Jacob Kind and Ross Oxenrider 6-3, 7-6 at No. 2. At No. 3, Harrison Webster and Eric Hermsen beat the Cheesemakers' Scott Foley and Nathan Smith 6-3, 6-0.
