CAMBRIDGE — Sugar River improved to 6-0 on the alt-fall season with a 4-0 win over Cambridge-Deerfield April 20.
Ryan Downing scored off a pass from Breckin Faber at the 5:34 mark in the first half. In the 37th minute, Faber made it 2-0.
Sugar River then flipped Cambridge-Deefield’s possession moments after the ensuing midfield kickoff, and Tyler Stampfl flipped a pass to Aiden Hatleberg, who put it in to the back of the net at the 37:45 mark to put the Raiders ahead 3-0.
Hatleberg scored late in the second half off a pass from Carter Siegenthaler, capping the scoring.
Cam Kleiboer was unchallenged in net in 75 minutes of play, and backup Luke Brecklin also had zero shots against in 15 minutes of work.
