DARLINGTON — The Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin recently released the 2023 Girls Academic All-State list, and the entire Darlington varsity lineup made the team.

Golfers who are sophomores, juniors, or seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, and who competed in at least 75% of the varsity matches in the current season, are eligible to receive this honor.

Darlington finished third in the SWAL based on overall season points. At the Prairie du Chien Regional, the Redbirds took fourth, as Josie Meister and Sophie Wiegel advanced to sectionals as individuals. There, the pair tied for 17th with a score of 94. All varsity members graduate this spring, making for a fresh squad next fall.
