New Glarus defeated Fennimore 45-42 Thursday in a sectional semifinal game at Reedsburg to advance to the sectional final. The Knights trailed 16-13 at halftime, but Jaden Kreklow and Connor Siegenthaler caught fire in the second half, combining for 25 points. Kreklow hit four free throws in the final minute to win it.

New Glarus will face rival Belleville in a WIAA sectional final at 7 p.m. Saturday at Middleton High School. The winner will advance to the Division 4 state tournament at the Kohl Center, starting March 14. Belleville knocked off top-seeded Parkview 70-66.
