BRODHEAD — The Cardinals had 11 aces in a 25-15, 25-16, 25-18 win over Turner on Oct. 1. Karli Krumwiede and Laney Weis led the team with three each.

Offensively, Allie Dahl was in a league of her own with 14 kills. The next highest was Brynn Reisterer with seven. Addie Leifker and Gretchen Kammerer split the setting duties, combining for 27 assists Leifker (12), Dahl (15) and Krumwiede (17) had double-digit digs.


ARGYLE 3, ALBANY 0

ALBANY — The Orioles had just seven attack errors in 95 attempts in a 25-15, 25-11, 25-14 win over the Comets on Sept. 30.

Kylie Butler led the attack with 13 kills and three errors for a .357 hitting percentage. Claire Holmes had six kills in 17 attempts without an error for a .353 percentage. She also led the team with four aces. Butler (14), Brynn Harris (13) and Brooke Wellnitz (15) had double-digit kills.

Anna Ellinger led Albany offensively with eight kills. She and Keirra Cleasby combined for 26 digs. Ellie Modaff had a team-high nine assists.


MONTICELLO 3, 

BLACK HAWK 0

MONTICELLO — The Ponies swept the Warriors 25-8, 25-17, 25-18. In the first set, Kennadee Johnson had 14 serve attempts. She also led the team in assists. Dalana Trumpy was the offensive leader, and Jillian Ryan tallied four blocks.


In other local volleyball, Monroe fell to East Troy 25-12, 25-11, 25-14. In the Capitol South Conference, Belleville swept Wisconsin Heights 25-17, 25-19, 25-16 and New Glarus fell to Marshall 25-21, 25-21, 25-18.
