BELOIT - Brodhead-Juda spotted Beloit Turner six points and then went on a scoring frenzy in a 36-18 win Friday.
The Cardinals rushed 38 times for 291 yards.
Brodhead-Juda Junior Ethan Douglas led all rushers with 141 yards on 21 carries, an average of more than 6 yards per carry. Senior Vinny Mazzarisi added 85 yards for the Cardinals' offense.
Nolan Byrom led the Trojans with 128 yards on 31 carries.
Beloit Turner, coming off a win last Friday against New Glarus-Monticello, got on the board first after quarterback Jordan Conway took off on a 24-yard run to the end zone in the opening quarter.
In the second quarter, Brodhead-Juda quarterback Beau Benner decided that if Conway could score, so could he. Benner ran 14 yards to tie the game.
Then it was up to Brodhead-Juda's offensive line and punishing running game to take control.
Mazzarisi broke the 6-6 tie with a 70-yard run and Douglas followed up later in the quarter with a 1-yard run.
In the fourth quarter, with the Cardinals ahead 22-6, both teams traded touchdowns. Conway ran for his second touchdown of the night and also threw a touchdown pass to Stephen Porter.
Mazzarisi and Douglas also scored touchdowns.
Brodhead-Juda is home against East Troy Friday.
