LAKE MILLS - Ryan Bright shined Friday night.
The New Glarus-Monticello quarterback ran for two touchdowns and ran back an interception for a score as the Glarner Knights (2-2) got past Lake Mills 21-12 in a non-conference football game.
Bright scored on a 99-yard run midway through the first quarter to give NG-M a 7-0 lead. Then, after Lake Mills pulled to within 7-6, Bright scored on a 1-yard run with 1:23 left in the first quarter to give the Glarner Knights a 14-6 lead.
The score remained that way until there was 5:36 left in the fourth quarter, when Bright intercepted a Lake Mills pass and rambled 62 yards for a score to put the game out of reach.
The Glarner Knights rolled up 265 rushing yards.
