SOUTH WAYNE - The Warriors walked off their Six Rivers East schedule feeling mighty squeaky clean.

Black Hawk committed just one error between both games of a 14-4, 4-0 doubleheader sweep of visiting Argyle.

Senior Jake Kaempfer had a fine night, going a combined 5-for-7 and driving in the knockout runs in the second game.

Five Warriors had multiple hits in the opener, none more damaging than a 2-run homer by junior first baseman Shane Jackson during a 4-run fourth.

SIX RIVERS EAST

BARNEVELD 5-3, MONTICELLO 0-2

The Eagles put a stamp on their conference title in the second game of a twinbill at home Monday evening.

The Ponies of Monticello took a 2-0 lead into the bottom of the fifth before Barneveld scored once in the final three innings to come back and win.

SWAL

DARLINGTON 12, FENNIMORE 2 (5 INNINGS)

The Redbirds are catching their groove. Once they caught on to the Eagles' slower pitching Monday, it was all over.

Darligton scored five times in the first inning and added runs in the next three frames to go home early and happy. Five Redbirds had multiple hits.
