MONROE - The Monroe Brewers Home Talent baseball team is hosting a baseball camp Saturday, Feb. 22 for fourth- through eighth-graders.
The youth baseball camp will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Monroe High School. The camp is being run by the GRB Baseball Academy. The cost of the camp is $20.
The camp will focus on the fundamentals of fielding, throwing and hitting.
Participants should bring a glove, bat and catching equipment.
"I played college baseball with the owner of the academy I am really excited that he has agreed to bring his talented staff down to Monroe," Brewers player-manager Jeff Newcomer said.
