MONROE - Over the weekend, Monroe hosted the SWAGS League Championship Tournament, which featured several area softball teams from fifth through eighth grades, including Argyle, Blanchardville, Juda, Monticello and Monroe.
Argyle took first in the seventh- and eighth-grade division, with Monticello taking second and Juda finishing third.
In the fifth- and sixth-grade tournament, Monroe took top honors, with Argyle second and Monticello third.
"SWAGS would like to thank everyone who attended the tournament for parents, teams and umpires," Monroe coach Curt Leuzinger said.
