Roy L. Holverson, age 85, formerly of Browntown, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Roy was born January 14, 1936 the son of Frank and Alma (Rude) Holverson. He was a graduate of South Wayne High School in 1955. Roy and Muriel Melland were married on January 10, 1959 at the East Wiota Church. He was a member of Wiota Lutheran Church.

Roy was a longtime dairy farmer in rural Browntown, in his later years he was a carpenter. He also owned and operated Country View Estates of Browntown. Roy and Muriel enjoyed traveling and later, Roy enjoyed taking short trips with his children. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Roy is survived by his children, Debra (Leurner) Anderson and Dennis (Mia) Holverson both of Browntown; grandchildren, Chad (Heidi) Anderson, Derek (Rachel) Anderson, and Brittany Anderson; step-grandchildren, B.J., Matt, and Myles Annis; great-grandchildren, Paige, Reese, and Tristan Anderson; two step-great-granddaughters, Loren Carter and Brielle Annis; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Holverson.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Kevin Holverson; brothers, Melvin, Clyde, Forrest, Donald, and Floyd; and sisters, Viola (Jimmy) Francomb and Ramona (Chuck) Friedli.

A private family graveside service will be held at East Wiota Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Perger officiating. For those who prefer, memorials may be sent to the East Wiota Cemetery Fund, 6650 Hwy 78 South Wayne WI, 53587.
