Judith A. Rupnow, age 80 of Browntown, died Friday, October 20, 2023 at Monroe Hospice Home. She was born on October 17, 1943 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of William and Fern (Eggemeier) Henning. She attended Freeport High School. Judith married Dale Rupnow on June 9, 1962 in Freeport, IL. She worked at Swiss Colony for 22 years, retiring in 2018; she also farmed with her husband in South Wayne area for 25 years. She enjoyed shopping, bingo and gambling, but most of all spending time with family.

     She is survived by her husband, Dale of 61 years; children: John (Marilyn) Rupnow, Jeff (Debby) Rupnow and Jason (Julie) Rupnow, all of Monroe, special son, Wayne (Elaine) Gift of Lena, IL; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 2 on the way; sister, Carol Lynch of Forreston, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home, with Pastor Pat Pluss officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport. A visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home; and also Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
