John Joseph Burke, age 76 of Green Bay, formerly of Monroe, passed away on Thursday December 15th, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI. John was born on December 27th 1945 to Philip and Josephine (Boyle) Burke. John graduated from South Wayne High School in 1964. John served in the military during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Thailand.

John was united in marriage to Joanne Mae Winters on April 16th, 1966. John worked as an electrician for several companies through the years until retiring to the Green Bay area in 2017. John enjoyed watching the Green Bay packers, gardening and surfing the internet reconnecting with old friends.

John is survived by his wife, Mae of Green Bay; daughters Kimberly (David) Lange of Green Bay, Susan (John) Maveus of Monroe; 5 grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan and Emily Lange and Nicholas and Matthew Maveus. His mother Josephine (100 yrs old) of Beaver Dam,  sister Patricia (Don) Markhardt of Beaver Dam,  brother in law Wesley Winters South Wayne, and 1 niece Katie (Noe) Pacheco of Muskego.

John was preceded in death by his father Philip, nephew Jeff Holz, sister in law Patricia Winters, father in law George Winters and mother in law Esther Winters.

There will be no funeral services as John has been cremated per his wishes.
