James C. Meier 75 passed away at his home in Monticello Wi. Dec. 7, 2021.  James was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Zwingli United Church of Christ, Monticello Wi.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert J. (Dorothy) Meier of Apache Junction Az. and Henry and Lena Spring of Monticello Wi., sister Carolyn (Chuck) Soddy of Monroe Wi. and brother Glen (Louise) Spring of Albany Wi.

Survivors include brothers John (Lori) Meier of Peru In., Leroy Spring of Monticello Wi.  Steve (Kate) Spring of Monticello Wi. sisters Gayle (John) Roundy of Monroe Wi.   Kathy (Allen) Marty of Belleville Wi., Marsha (Lonnie) Goecks of Franklin Wi., Kevin Meier of Sarasota Fl., Kyle (Becca) Meier of Lander Wy. and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held April 23 at Highland Cemetery, Monticello Wi. at 11 AM, Pastor Lance Smith officiating.  A luncheon will be held after at the Pink Heifer previously known as the Monticello House 149 N. Main St. Monticello Wi. from 12 to 4.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Legion Post 144 Albany Wi.
