Daniel Fry age 51 of Davis, Illinois died Thursday, March 30, 2023. He was born on January 25, 1972 in Freeport, Illinois, the son of Duane and Kathryn (Zier) Fry. He graduated from Monroe High School. He married Melissa Radick on June 5, 2020 in Iowa. Dan was an operator for Maddrell Excavating. He was a member of IUOE local #139; he enjoyed playing pool, fishing, hunting, camping, playing cards, especially Euchre, the Packers, Nascar, cars in general and going to car shows; working on his 1968 Chevy C 10 and his 1986 Camaro, and his dog, Precious.

     He is survived by his wife, Melissa of Davis, IL; mother, Kathryn Fry and step-father, William Ammann Sr., children: Moriah Dietzman, Haley Pickford, and Kaitlyn Radick; sister, Kimberly (Ray) Plath of Janesville; step-sister, Pam Powers and Brandie Yingst; step-brothers: Billy Ammann Jr. and Jamie Ammann; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Duane, and step-brother, Bradly Ammann.

     A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
