Carol J. (Cook) Loomis, age 78 of Crescent City, Florida, passed away January 21, 2021 due to complications after contracting Corona virus. She was born on November 28, 1942 in Platteville, WI, to Laurence and Lavora (Peggy) Cook. She had attended Platteville School. She married Bernard Dressler on December 19, 1959. Together they had 5 daughters and lived in Monroe and Lancaster, WI.
She later married Ronald J. Loomis on May 30, 1986 in Packwaukee, WI. They had homes in Packwaukee and Oxford, WI until retiring to Crescent City, Florida, in 2004.
Carol was a resident at Lakewood Nursing Home as she was also affected by dementia.
Carol is survived by her husband, Ron, of Crescent City, FL; 4 daughters, Joanna Dressler, Karen (Garry) Pluemer, Jennifer (Dan Bennett) Pink all of Lancaster and Michelle (Jim) Andrews of Brodhead; 2 stepdaughters, Tammy (Don) Debaere of WI Dells and Susan (Ray) Winters of Reedsburg; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter; 2 brothers, Mike Cook of Monroe and Keith (Bea) Cook of TN; 4 sisters, Marylin Huffman of Beloit, Cathy (Jeff) Gilberston of Albany, Connie (Mike) Pederson of Argyle and Cheryl (Russ) Warriner of Rutledge, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Nancy (Roger) Krantz; 1 sister, Myla Dahlen; and 6 brothers, Larry, Toby, Donny, Dennis, Lyle and Steve Cook.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
