Bruce Schmoldt, age 58 of Monroe, died Wednesday at SSM Health in Madison. He was born on April 29, 1965 in Monroe, the son of Willis and Shirley (Haeft) Schmoldt. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1983 and Blackhawk Technical College in 1985 with a degree in CNC programing. He worked as a Mechanical Designer at Industrial Combustion and has been working there for 38 years. He was previously a member of South Central Wisconsin Archery Club, he enjoyed curling, golfing, fishing, and hunting and being outdoors.
He is survived by his father, Willis Schmoldt; siblings: Jeffrey (Pam) Schmoldt of Janesville, Gary (Nancy) Schmoldt of Greenfield, WI, Wendy (Dan Berg) Schmoldt of Monroe, and twin Brian (Valerie) Schmoldt of Janesville; nieces and nephews: Eric (Whitney) Schmoldt of Janesville, Kevin (Kimberly) Schmoldt of Bayside, WI, Samantha (Christopher) Koncki of Greendale, WI, Kristopher (Alyssa) Eberle of Monroe, Rebecca (Tom) Eberle-McLean of Monroe, Jeremy Eberle of Monroe, Everett (Madeline) Schmoldt of Madison, Alex Schmoldt of Janesville, and Carly Schmoldt of Janesville; several great nieces and nephews. He preceded in death by his mother, Shirley.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Scott officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
