Bradley R. Butts
obituary

Bradley R. Butts, age 59 of Monroe, died on Sunday, March 8 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison due to complications from heart surgery. Brad was born on December 28, 1960 in Kenosha, the son of Delbert and Beth Butts. He graduated from South Wayne High School in 1979 and married Evelyn Butts on July 24, 1982 on his family’s farm in Browntown. He worked for many years at R.R. Donnelly (formerly Moore), was a firefighter for Browntown, farmed, and was a proud retired member of the Apparitions MC. He was a big man with an even bigger heart, and was a friend to any who needed one. Brad enjoyed his Harleys, any animal he laid eyes on, and loved his daughter more than anything.

Brad is survived by his daughter, Stefani Butts of Monroe; his father, Delbert Butts of Browntown; special friend Beth (Terry) Faith of rural Monroe; his beloved nieces and nephews; and adopted daughter Hayley (Clifford) Streich of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Sister and Wife in 2014.

A memorial service for close friends and family was held at the Apparitions MC in Monticello on Saturday, March 14. A benefit raffle and dance will be held at the Horseshoe Saloon on March 29 from 3-7 pm. In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested in care of Stefani Butts.
