This photo of the students inside the Meadow Valley School was taken in 1959. The former rural school was located across the road from W6355 Meadow Valley Road in Section 33 of New Glarus Township. The archives room of the Green County Historical Society is the repository for rural school records for all of the 120 former rural schools throughout the county. The society solicits teacher, clerk, and treasurer from these schools.
