MONROE - Fitness Nutrition Center has opened in the former Medicine Mart building in the 700 block of 8th St.

The store is owned by Chris Isely, Monroe, and sells vitamins, minerals, herbs, sports nutrition supplements, natural personal care products, bee products, organic and gluten-free foods.

The store is Isely's second location; his Freeport location has been open since June 2006.
