MONROE — Family Promise of Green County is offering the community an opportunity to win $10,000, while helping families affected by homelessness find their way towards housing stability. 

This year’s “10 Grand in Your Hand” fundraiser will again be held virtually, enabling participants to connect from the comfort of their homes. Some of the winners will be announced on social media posts beginning June 10 and throughout the week leading up to the Facebook Live event June 16. During the Facebook Live event, the remaining winners will be announced, including the winner of the $10,000 Grand Prize.

There are limited tickets available this year, and each ticket costs $100. 

As part of this year’s fundraiser, Family Promise of Green County will also hold an online auction from June 11 through June 16 at 9 p.m. The June 16 Facebook Live virtual event will begin at 7 p.m.

Family Promise of Green County has helped hundreds of families find stable housing and address challenges that impact their ability to maintain housing. The Green County affiliate of Family Promise was founded in November 2011, and uses a three-tiered model to prevent families from becoming homeless, to provide shelter to those who need it, and to empower families through stabilization.
