MONROE - Green County Emergency Management will host two local tornado spotter classes in April.
The free classes are open to any one who would like to learn more about accurately identifying tornados and severe storms.
An instructor-based class will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 1 at the Belleville Fire Department, 33 E. Main St. A webinar class, a presentation downloaded from the internet and an instructor will talk to the class via conference phone, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, April 8 at Monroe Fire Station No. 1, 601 West 17th St.
Seating is limited at both sites and pre-registration is required. To register, contact the Green County Emergency Management at 608-328-9470 by Friday, March 29.
