Drop off yard waste at Monroe streets dept. until noon Saturday

MONROE - The streets and sanitation department will collect yard waste, such as leaves, grass clippings and garden plants, from 7 a.m. to noon today, June 16 at the streets and sanitation department, 1064 5th Ave.

Yard waste that can be bagged should be in a clear or clear blue waterproof bag with a capacity of no more than 33 gallons and weighing no more than 6o pounds. Sticks, branches, brush, stalks and other yard waste not easily bagged should be tied in bundles. More information is available online at www.cityofmonroe.org.
