MONROE — Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries at 8:53 p.m. Saturday, March 7. DyAnne L. Holverson, 59, Monroe, was northbound on 17th Avenue at 16th Street when she failed to yield at a stop sign, entered the intersection and collided with a westbound vehicle on 16th Street driven by Francisco Garcia Gutierrez, 26, Monroe. Holverson’s vehicle sustained moderate damage while Garcia Gutierrez’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. Holverson was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign. Garcia Gutierrez was cited for driving without a valid license.

MONROE — On Tuesday, March 3:
● Mary H. Morton, 65, Monroe, was extricated from her vehicle by the Monroe Fire Department following a rollover crash reported at 7:33 a.m. in the W6300 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe. Green County EMS also responded with deputies to the scene. Morton was eastbound when she lost control due to snow on the road. The vehicle went off the road and overturned. Morton reported no injuries. Her vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed.
● William J. S. Whalen-Bridge, 24, Madison, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 7:34 a.m. in the N3200 block of County N, Town of Monroe. He was southbound when he lost control due to snow on the road. The vehicle collided with a traffic sign and sustained functional damage. It was left on scene.
● A one-vehicle crash that had occurred at County MM and Buckhorn Road, Town of Cadiz, was reported at 7:45 a.m. Courtney K. Grossen, 38, Browntown, lost control due to snow on the road. The vehicle entered the ditch. Grossen reported no injuries. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was removed from the scene.
● Tracey L. Kamps, 50, Argyle, reported non-life threatening injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 8:07 a.m. at Iliff Road and Aebly Road, Town of Monroe. She lost control due to snow on the road. The vehicle slid through the intersection and entered the east ditch of Aebly Road. It sustained minor damage and was left on scene.
● Laura E. Kniffen, 41, New Glarus, reported non-life threatening injuries from a rollover crash at 8:18 a.m. in the W3900 block of County W, Town of Exeter. The Belleville Fire Department and Belleville EMS responded along with deputies. The Green County Highway Department assisted on scene. Kniffen was eastbound when she lost control due to snow on the road. The vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. It sustained severe damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed.
● A two-vehicle crash was reported at 3:19 p.m. on Wis. 11 at County G, Town of Spring Grove. Hilary A. Zimmerman, 40, Brodhead, was westbound on Wis. 11 and attempting to turn onto County G. As she turned, a westbound vehicle on Wis. 11 driven by Brittany H. Graber, 30, Monroe, collided with Zimmerman’s vehicle. Zimmerman and her three passengers reported no injuries. Her vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. Graber also reported no injuries. Her vehicle sustained functional damage. It was driven from the scene. Graber was cited for following too closely.

DARLINGTON — On Tuesday, March 3:
● A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 7:32 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Kara A. Candito, 40, Middleton, lost control, causing her 2016 Toyota to enter the ditch and sustain minor damage.
● A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 7:38 a.m. on County O, Town of Shullsburg. Katie M. Hammer, 26, Benton, lost control, causing her 2018 Jeep to enter the ditch and sustain minor damage.
● Injuries were reported from a rollover crash reported at 10:53 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Blanchard. Matthew C. Grant, 47, Blanchardville, was northbound when he lost control, causing his 2014 Volkswagen to enter the ditch and roll. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed. The Blanchardville Fire Department and Blanchardville EMS assisted the deputy on scene. The accident remained under investigation.
On Wednesday, March 4:
● A one-vehicle accident was reported at 7:37 a.m. on South Dublin Road, Town of Gratiot. The Gratiot Fire Department, Gratiot First Response and Green County EMS of Darlington responded. Deputies assisted on scene.
On Thursday, March 5:
● A one-vehicle accident was reported at 2:52 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle. Mark A. Zakula, 66, Argyle, was eastbound when he fell asleep. His 2004 Mercury crossed the center line, entered the ditch and hit an electrical box. He then drove home, where Argyle police made contact with him. He was cited for failure to maintain control.
On Friday, March 6:
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 10:29 a.m. on Wildcat Road, Town of Darlington. Melissa J. Schreiber, 35, Darlington, swerved to miss a deer, causing her to hit the stop sign at Wildcat Road and Wis. 81. Her 2005 Pontiac sustained moderate damage. It was driven from the scene.
On Sunday, March 8:
● Ashley J. Smith, 28, Linden, reported hitting a deer at 3:48 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. The 2009 Ford, owned by Lucinda M. Smith, 59, Monroe, sustained severe damage. It was towed. Belmont police assisted on scene.
● A one-vehicle accident was reported at 12:36 p.m. on Holland Road, Town of Gratiot. Kody A. Piefer, 20, Warren, was driving a 2000 Honda when it started to break down, causing the vehicle to go into the ditch. It sustained minor damage. It was driven from the scene.
● A one-vehicle accident was reported at 4:20 p.m. on County Z, Town of Darlington. Michael J. Scott, 35, Mineral Point, was driving when the tire came off his 2008 Mazda, causing the vehicle to go into the ditch. It sustained minor damage. It was driven from the scene.
● Jeffrey M. Schultz, 53, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 8:31 p.m. on Walnut Road, Town of Wiota. The 2007 Jeep sustained moderate damage. It was towed.
