Green County Sheriff 

MONROE — Kennedy T. M. Scace, 16, Monroe, sustained minor injuries from a one-vehicle crash reported in the N3300 block of Wis. 59, Town of Sylvester, at 5:42 p.m. Thursday, June 6. She was southbound when her vehicle entered the gravel shoulder and she overcorrected. The vehicle went down an embankment and overturned, coming to rest on its tires. An adult passenger reported no injuries. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. Scace was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and underage consumption of alcohol.


Lafayette County Sheriff 

DARLNGTON — On Thursday, June 6:

●  Melissa A. Shunk, 21, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 6:26 a.m. on Otter Creek Road, Town of Darlington. Her 2017 Ford sustained minor damage.

●  Michelle L. Dockendorf, 42, Cuba City, reported hitting a deer at 10:41 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Benton. Her 2019 Honda sustained minor damage.

●  Deputies responded for a semi in the ditch at 10:48 p.m. in the Town of Shullsburg. Scott D. Childers, 48, Waucoma, Iowa, was turning from Wis. 11 onto Apple Road and took the corner too sharply with a trailer full of cattle. The 2018 KW Trailer went into the ditch line. Both the trailer and the 2017 tractor, owned by Livestock Express of Waucoma, sustained minor damage and were towed from the scene.

On Saturday, June 8:

●  Lauri A. Teutschmann, 56, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 9:30 a.m. on County U, Town of White Oak Springs. No injuries were reported. The 2014 Ford sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

●  Ronald V. Thomm, 70, Monroe, reported hitting a deer at 9:05 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot. No injuries were reported. The 2017 Ford sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
