MONROE — On Monday, Feb. 10:
● Wendi J. Ott, 46, Monroe, reported injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 10:02 a.m. in the W600 block of Wis. 59, Town of Albany. She declined medical treatment. She was eastbound when she swerved to avoid a deer. Her vehicle went into the ditch, sustaining moderate damage. It was towed.
On Thursday, Feb. 13:
● A two-vehicle crash with injuries was reported at 12:30 a.m. in the N9500 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus. Mark J. Thompson, 50, New Glarus, was southbound when he turned on his turn signal and slowed to turn onto Spring Valley Road. At this time, he was rear-ended by a southbound vehicle driven by Christopher J. Coon, 45, New Glarus. Thompson reported no injuries. His vehicle sustained functional damage and was towed. Coon reported non-life threatening injuries. His vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. Investigation resulted in deputies arresting Coon on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol. He was also cited for following too closely and operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration greater than 0.15%. He was released pending court. New Glarus police assisted deputies on scene.
● Steven A. Steiner, 26, Browntown, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 12:46 a.m. in Browntown. He was southbound on South Center Street and turning onto East Main Street when he lost control due to snow on the road. The vehicle went off the road and hit a power pole. It sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.
● Breanna L. McCoy, 16, Monticello, reported a non-life threatening injury from a one-vehicle crash at 7:21 a.m. in the N6200 block of County N, Town of Washington. She was northbound when she lost control due to snow on the road. The vehicle exited the road and hit a tree. The airbags deployed. The vehicle sustained damage and was towed. Green County EMS and the Monticello Fire Department assisted deputies on scene.
● Felicia M. Conley, 23, Albany, sustained non-life threatening injuries in a rollover crash reported at 11:38 a.m. in the N5200 block of Wis. 59, Town of Albany. She lost control due to the ice-covered road surface. The vehicle entered the ditch, where it overturned. Conley was transported by Green County EMS to the Monroe Clinic ER. The vehicle sustained damage and was towed. Albany police and the Green County Highway Department assisted deputies on scene.
On Friday, Feb. 14:
● No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 11:58 a.m. in Juda, Town of Jefferson. Christopher L. Wehinger, 48, Hebron, Ohio, was northbound on County S approaching the intersection with Wis. 11. He stopped at the stop sign and waited for traffic to clear. At this time, the driver of a northbound vehicle behind him on County S, Timothy W. Bryant, 55, Freeport, lost control due to ice on the road and collided with Wehinger’s vehicle. Both vehicles were driven from the scene with functional damage.
● Holly A. Morton, 23, Monroe, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 3:57 p.m. in the W4800 block of Greenbush Road, Town of Sylvester. She was eastbound when she lost control due to the ice-covered road surface, went off the road and collided with a fence. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed.
On Saturday, Feb. 15:
● Jaiden K. Walker, 19, Belleville, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 12:24 a.m. in the N9200 block of Wis. 92, Town of Exeter. She was northbound when she lost control on the ice-covered road. The vehicle entered the west ditch and collided with a traffic sign. The vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.
● Penny A. Erickson, 63, Monroe, reported no injuries from a vehicle vs. tree crash at 4:37 a.m. in the W5200 block of County FF, Town of Monroe. She was westbound when she lost control due to snow on the road. The vehicle exited the road, collided with a traffic sign and then hit a tree. It sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed. Green County EMS and the Monroe Fire Department assisted deputies on scene.
● Garret L. Voegeli, 16, Browntown, reported no injuries from a rollover crash at 5:34 a.m. in the W8300 block of County B, Town of Cadiz. He was eastbound when he lost control due to snow on the road. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed. Green County EMS, the Browntown Fire Department and the Green County Highway Department assisted deputies on scene.

MONROE — On Thursday, Jan. 30:
● Carla L. Gable, 51, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer at 7:14 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota. No injuries were reported. The 2007 Ford sustained moderate damage.
On Friday, Jan. 31:
● Reeva M. Pittz, 30, Mineral Point, reported hitting a deer at 5:53 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. No injuries were reported. The 2018 Buick sustained severe damage. It was towed. The Mineral Point Fire Department and EMS assisted on scene.
On Sunday, Feb. 2:
● James L. Toay, 42, Dodgeville, reported hitting a deer at 7:14 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle. No injuries were reported. The 2011 Ford sustained was driven from the scene with functional damage.
On Wednesday, Feb. 5:
● A vehicle vs. Amish buggy crash with no injuries was reported at 6:26 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. The Mineral Point Fire Department and Mineral Point EMS responded. Patricia M. Thomas, 64, Mineral Point, was southbound in her 2012 Ford when she collided with an Amish horse and buggy driven by Isaac S. Lapp, 26, Mineral Point. Lapp was attempting to turn onto Wis. 23 when he was hit. The buggy sustained moderate damage. The Ford sustained major damage and was towed.
● Cherie L. Uehling, 54, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer at 7:46 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings. No injuries were reported. The 2006 Chevrolet was driven from the scene with functional damage.
● John A. Witmer III, 29, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 11:19 p.m. on County G, Town of Argyle. No injuries were reported. The 2016 Chevrolet sustained severe damage and was towed.
On Friday, Feb. 7:
● Christina T. Harris, 27, Madison, reported hitting a deer at 7:38 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. The 2017 Hyundai sustained minor damage.
On Saturday, Feb. 8:
● A deputy responded for a vehicle in the ditch at 2:41 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg. As a result, Reynaldo Toledo-Mancilla, 21, Belmont, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated. He was cited for failure to keep a vehicle under control and driving without a valid license. The 2013 Chevrolet owned by Mancilla Sanchez, 46, Belmont, sustained minor damage and was towed. Shullsburg police assisted on scene.
On Wednesday, Feb. 12:
● Stacey B. Seffrood, 57, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 5:38 p.m. on County K, Town of Darlington. The 2019 Ford sustained minor damage.
